The 530-bed Calderdale Royal Hospital in Halifax, where a £12.5 million contract was undertaken over two years by Axima Building Services Ltd to install mechanical services in a new diagnostic block and mental health villa, as well as refurbish services in the existing buildings.

This new PFI district general hospital features 48,000m² accommodation, on five storeys, a 78-bed mental health unit and 250-seat catering facility.
