the environmental impact of our transport policy.
We encourage similar environmental standards to our own from suppliers
and subcontractors.
We provide information to enable
systems which we install to be operated and maintained at design
levels of performance and enable occupiers to understand the environmental
aspects of the services installed in their buildings.
We enhance environmental awareness
and commitment from our employees through training and communication.
We reassess on a regular basis
the environmental impact of our operations with a view to achieving
both continuous improvement of our environmental performance and
compliance with the principles of BS EN ISO 14001 ''Environmental
Management Systems".
Organisation and Responsibility
The management and control of
our environmental impact is an integral responsibility of the
Health and Safety Management Team consisting of the Company H&S Manager, Michelle Jones and an Operations H&S Manager, Arthur Lander who are undertaking a training programme to become associate members of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).
Day to day operational matters
are addressed by line management with support from the SHE Management
team.
Environmental responsibilities
of all personnel according to job function from Managing Director
downwards are detailed within the Company SHE Policy document.
Arrangements
The arrangements for managing
and controlling our environmental impact are described within
the SHE procedures. An alphabetical cross reference for all environmental
topics is provided within the Company SHE Policy document.
Environmental procedures are fully
integrated within the Company health and safety management system.

and refrigerant handling.

via Company intranet, briefing notes and training programme.

induction and training programme for all personnel
